Back to the USA

Nancy and I are sitting in the lobby of our hotel waiting for a cab to the airport. It has been a wonderful journey. The people of Thailand are gentle and gracious people. At no time have we felt any danger. Except for the airfare, lodging and meals and gifts have been incredibly cheap. Lydia and Michael were 5-star hosts in Phuket. In Bangkok, the Marriott Resort and Spa has been luxurious. What incredible sites we have seen. I hope post some stories when I get to Seattle.
The photo below is at the King's Summer Palace outside Bangkok.

Internet Very Spotty

Hi Friends,
No I have not dropped off the face of the earth.  Best laid plans have a way of getting off track.
I am not able to access my blog very much.  So rather than stress out over technology at the expense of a wonderful trip, I am going to let Lydia continue her wonderful blog that you can read until I have better access.  So go to

http://ldkohout.blogspot.com/

for what we are doing.
I will try to post in a few days when we get to Bangkok.
Having a wonderful time.
Nancy

Post from iPad

This is a test from my iPad

Summer travels

On Wednesday Nancy Wright and I will leave for a two-week stay in Thailand. We will travel to Phuket and join Michael and Lydia Kohout, who are house and pet -sitting for three months.  On July 21 we will fly back to Bangkok for 4 days of sightseeing.  As we head back to the US on July 26, we will part ways in Los Angeles.  Nancy will return to Metter.  I will journey to Seattle for a couple of weeks to visit Matt and Dana and do a bit of exploring out of the city.
I will not be taking my computer, so all posts will be via my iPad.  Hopefully it will work.  Thanks to Matt, it is all set up.  Now it is up to me to make it work.
Hope you will enjoy reading about my journey.
